IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THE PURCHASE OF A NEW COMPOSITE METAL BAT FOR USE IN LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL (Major Division and below), BE SURE THAT THE BAT YOU ARE PURCHASING HAS THIS MARKING: BPF 1.15 ON THE BARREL OR HANDLE OF THE BAT. IF NOT, IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR PLAY IN LITTLE LEAGUE GAMES. |

CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON NEW SCORER'S TABLE
Construction has started on the new scorer's table at Elworthy 2. In anticipation of the 9 and under, 10-11, and 12 District 6 tournament in 2008, several projects are underway to enhance our already top-notch fields. By the arrival of Opening Day in the spring, among other things, will be the arrival of a new batting cage, and this new scorer's table. |

Mark Carrier, Bill Avery, Greg Altland and Claudia Wakely were unanimously elected to the 2008 Grosse Pointe Farms-City Little League Board of Directors at the October meeting. The board welcomes these four new members and the talent and enthusiasm they bring to our efforts! |
