11-12 INTERNATIONAL TEAM WINS DISTRICT TITLE

The Grosse Pointe Farms City 11-12 International All Star Team won the District 6 title at Ghesquire Park by beating Grosse Pointe Woods Shores 5-4 in a thrilling championship game. The team won all 7 games in the tournament including a 4-0 record in pool play. In the semi-finals, Farms City beat Harper Woods 5-4 in 7 innings and Woods Shores 7-2.
