Elworthy 1 - 1996 American League Cy Young award winner and Detroit Native, Pat Hentgen conducted an on-field clinic for pitchers of all seven teams of the Majors Division. As the weather turned ugly, the clinic moved indoors where Mr. Hentgen regaled the boys in stories of what it was like to be in the MLB, his rise to the top, former teammates, and what it takes to become a winner.  The visit was coordinated by Athletics Manager Tom Shimmel.
